For me, to VJ is to collaborate with musical artists to transform a passive audience into dancing participants. VJ is the visual equivalent of a DJ. I take different source of video, mix them together, and effects and my own audio reactive animations. My goal is not to take the focus away from the music, but to add to the musical experience.

I currently use a quartz composer composition I authored myself and adapt for every performance. I’m using a Vestax vci-100, Fader Master, and a 2 octave keyboard to control the visuals through midi.
